Simien Mountain Dream Hike
My husband and I did a 5 day hike in the Simien Mountains. Everything was amazing! Dezy organized the trip and all we had to do was hike, take photos and enjoy the beauty and nature surrounding us. The hiking was strenuous and you must take the altitude seriously...acclimate for a day or two in Gondar before beginning the hike. The camping was quite comfortable and we arrived at our campsites and the tents, sleeping bags, and our bags were already there. We sat down and had tea/coffee and a snack before the most wonderful dinners. The guide explained things perfectly and pointed out some animals we would not have noticed. Local Excellence in Tourism - Congratulations Dezy
This is probably the fifth time I've arranged a trip with Dezy for myself or for friends. He's a great guy and born and raised in Debark. He has a brilliant network of people who work for him on the trips. For example, our chef team, Endalk and Mola, was amazing. We even had an eleven-component meal - madness! The tents are great, and sleeping gear also. The Simiens are so beautiful and I would never do a camping or hiking tour with anyone but Dezy behind it. Regarding cost: Dezy calculates all inclusive prices. It's worth remembering that the fixed costs on trips in the Simiens National Park are (rightly) relatively high - e.g. your guide, your entrance fee, your scout are all charged at fixed prices regulated by the local authority. I remember when I first travelled with Dezy in 2017, I didn't realise this and thought he might be quite expensive. Great experience. Dezy is the ultimate professional. He went above and beyond, as my plans, hotel and airplane reservations changed. Excellent value-for-money. Great 3 day trek, terrific top-notch food, ginger tea and even Ethiopian wine? Highly recommend Dezy and his tour. Loved the Fasil castle and Trinity church visit too. Wonderfull trekking in Simien Mountain
It was a wonderful experience to travel with Dezy and his team to Ethopia. We travelled during covid times and they really looked out for us. Trekking the Simian Mountains for 6 days was hard but the support from the trackers and the excellent food was amazing. Would never have made it without Sali. Lallibelo was a spiritual experience. Excellent Service - going the extra mile
Excellent trip with Dezy and his team! If ever there was a company that goes the extra mile, it is Trek Ethiopia Travel and Tours. Every small detail was planned to perfection and even when flights were cancelled (not to their fault), they went the extra mile to keep us going. Great 5 Day trek in the Simiens
We had a great 5 day trek in the Simiens organized by Dezy. He supplied everything we needed. The tents were in good shape and waterproof. Cook made great food. Everyone was friendly. We saw Ethiopian wolves, gelada baboons and the Walia ibex. Scenery was fantastic.

Semien mountain hike and tour of Ethiopia
The 3 day hike in the Semien Mountain National Park was a unforgettable experience with excellent support from Dezy and his team. Experienced guide with good knowledge and good food and equipment. All throughout the 10 day adventure, Dezy and his team were beyond reliable and committed to make it a memorable experience of Ethiopia, it's people and places. Great value for the budget traveler! The guide provided many good cultural insights. The team was flexible with our plans when needed. I finished the 6 day Trek at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. They continued to support me during my evacuation efforts. 3 Tage (2 Nächte) Trekking Tour Simien Mountains Februar 2020
Gut organisierte Trekking Tour, wir wurden am Morgen pünktlich am Hotel abgeholt und alles hat sehr gut geklappt. Diese Tour ist anspruchsvoll aufgrund der Höhe und teilweise nicht einfachen Pfade. Phantastische Aussicht auf eine atemberaubende Landschaft, aber recht kalte Nächte im Zelt. Basecamp mit einfachem Standard. Angesichts der schwierigen Bedingungen hatten wir eine tolle Verpflegung mit frisch gekochten Speisen. Für den Großteil unserer Gruppe waren 3 Tage aufgrund des anspruchsvollen Programms ausreichend. Bei Dezy ist alles inklusive außer Trinkgeld, wir können die Tour nur empfehlen und waren sehr zufrieden!
